Their sushi is fine, but you can get sushi at many, many restaurants. My advice is to order something from the Korean section of their menu. Everything I've ordered has been fresh, delicious, and authentic-tasting. If you're new to Korean food, I suggest starting off with their Bibimbap with your choice of meats, and then moving on to one (or more) of their Korean stir-fry dishes, which are a bit spicier and have a more pronounced flavor. I haven't tried their Chinese or Japanese fare (other than some sushi), but I would say that their Korean food is probably the best that I've ever had.

The food was just average. We ordered a Korean soup (K28) with beef stripes and there was barely any beef strips in it. Not only was there barely any meat, the soup just tasted like pepper because they put a whole bunch of pepper on it. It was the only seasoning they used for all the food and they went a bit overboard with the pepper seasoning. We also ordered the spicy rice cake for about $11 and there was only 11 rice cakes in there and 2 fish cakes. So we paid $1 per rice cake. I can buy a packet of rice cake for $5. We also got the bulgogi which was $18. SUPER overpriced for the small portion we got. If you're hungry and looking for good food, I would not recommend this place.

Authentic Asian flair. I've tried the seafood pancake and two different stews. Every single thing has been delicious and filling. I tend to eat large lunches and I've never been able to finish my course. Also the customer service has been amazing. I've been served immediately and given through explanations and recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Syracuse University area. I was able to walk from the Whitman Building.

Do you enjoy warm and squishy tuna? Perhaps you enjoy ordering lobster and instead receiving frozen crab? If neither of those sound appetizing to you, then I would place this restaurant at the bottom of your dining list in Syracuse. If you're a risk taker and like to roll the dice on Sushi then, please, by all means eat lunch or dinner here. However, if you value the dining experience, at all, then steer clear.

It might be hard to find Sushi Time right now due to all the construction on Crouse, but this restaurant across from the CVS is worth venturing out to. For Japanese food, most people will direct you to the nearby Bleu Monkey, but Sushi Time is just as good if not better. What really makes the difference is the friendliness of the staff. They care that you're there. And as an added bonus, they serve a little Korean banchan to every table.
All praising aside, I was torn between 4 and 5 stars. The sushi has never disappointed and I prefer their teriyaki to other places. My one wish would be better greens with their salads.
